Last night K and I with his brother and his brothers girlfriend decided to try a new place. It was Montclair restaurant week and wanted to try at least one of the restaurants on the list. During restaurant week, Montclair has a list of restaurants that you can try. Each one has a special menu that you can pick from - they offer three-course, fixed price dinners at $20 or $30. Now I am not a big fan of Chinese food, but this place is amazing. Each one of us tried a different dish and all were delicious. I cannot rave enough about how good the food and service is here. Delish to the max!

Meat & Veggie Dumplings
Squid with salt and chili pepper
General Tao’s Chicken
Sesame Shrimp
Sweet and Sour Chicken
Chicken and snow peas
And for dessert the chocolate passion

*yes we ate alot!

The end of Domino

One of my favorite decorating magazines is ending. Domino, a three-year-old shopping and home décor magazine, will stop publishing with its March issue. In a recession and a housing market crash, finding advertisers to promote furniture and housewares was difficult. Condé Nast also closed Vogue Living, a supplement to Vogue, in August and House and Garden in November 2007. The Domino website will also go dark soon. The magazine featured art, green living, entertaining, do-it-yourself projects, and decor. I was happy to see the magazine every month when I ran to the mailbox. It will be sorely missed.
