I had forgotten that we tried two new restaurants this weekend. Marzullo’s I guess was forgotten because it was very forgettable. When we first came to Marzull’s they gave us a table that was extremely uncomfortable as the servers had to reach around/over us to serve the people next to us. Now this is not a small place, but instead of making patrons dine in comfort the owner seems more concerned with packing in as many people as possible. The service was mediocre, the food bland, and the prices were way over priced for what it was. I have had better food from neighborhood pizza places at half the price. When we were ready to leave our waitress was no where to be found and another waitress had to get our check. I would highly suggest not even trying this place. Save yourself some money and head deeper into Montclair for some truly amazing food.
